I am not sure which Springboard course to study. Can you help?
Yes, we’d love to!
We strongly recommend that you contact us, and a member of our academic team will schedule a call to discuss the various educational options which might be most suitable for you.
This will include advice on further progression routes available after you complete a Springboard programme.
It’s far better to spend fifteen minutes on the phone now, explaining your current situation and your plans for the future, so you choose the course that will give you the most support and get you heading in the right direction. Our team are friendly and knowledgeable, and are used to counselling and supporting people like you.
If I want to change career in the future, which course do you think is right for me?
It really depends on your future goals. What exactly are you looking to do in the future? You might be looking to change your career, but think about the parts of your current or last job that you particularly enjoyed.
Was there a particular skillset in that job you feel you are naturally good at, for example handling statistics, creative thinking, IT and systems, sales and marketing? If so, then you might like to use the opportunity Springboard+ gives you to reinforce what you know so you come back stronger.
Or it could be that there are parts of the job that you really don’t understand, and where a basic grounding would really help to widen your appreciation of what it takes to run a business. In that case, see if you can work out what you’re missing, and step out of your comfort zone.
For example, if you’ve always been behind the scenes at work, try developing your understanding of Sales and Marketing. And if you’d like to learn about the rapidly expanding world of marketing via the internet, try our Digital Marketing course.
These are only a few ideas to get you thinking. Please do contact us and arrange a chat with our academic team. They’ll help work out what’s right for you. Places on Springboard+ courses are limited and filling up quickly though, so do hurry!
I have been away from education for quite several years, are these programmes suitable for me?
Yes they are. We know the decision to return to education can feel overwhelming. Don’t worry. We’ll ensure you are given the support and resources you need to help you achieve your goal of re-entering education. Every year we welcome approximately one hundred mature students to Galway Business School. But don’t take our word for it… check out some our student testimonials from our previous mature learners: https://www.galwaybusinessschool.ie/our-students/
What accreditation is attached to these courses?
All the programmes offered under the Springboard initiative are accredited by Quality and Qualification Ireland. Therefore, further progression routes are available to learners on successful completion of the programmes.
