Our full-time business courses are designed for anyone who wants to invest in their future by studying full-time. They’re ideal for you if you’re looking to gain a widely recognised qualification that will advance your career and develop your knowledge of business, management and communications.

Our full-time business courses aim to you learners with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to communicate in local and international business settings, and to become a successful business manager.

Studying full-time for a business degree, you’ll spend a lot of time here at Galway Business School. This means you’ll have lots more chances to study, practise and interact with other students.  

As well as intensive communication with other students, you’ll be in close contact with your teachers and your academic coordinator, who will be on hand to support you and your study needs.

Full-time undergraduate courses 

Our full-time undergraduate courses are ideal for recent leaving certificate graduates looking to continue their studies at an undergraduate level in a smaller university setting environment.

They’re also the perfect option for international students who have already mastered English at a high level (IELTS 6.0+) and wish to progress and further their study at university level in an English-speaking country.

Bachelor of Business

The Bachelor of Business degree is awarded by Galway Business School on behalf of Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI). This programme is designed to give you a clearly structured, yet innovative education in business, which will provide you with a solid foundation for success in your future career.

Learners will develop the employment-focused, transferable skills necessary to perform in a business environment. You’ll learn to communicate information, ideas and solutions effectively.

Bachelor of Business (Honours) in International Business 

Galway Business School offers a Bachelor of Business (Honours) in International Business programme in the city of Galway, situated on the west coast of Ireland.

The Bachelor of Business degree programme allows you to enhance your qualifications by topping up to a level 8 degree. This degree focuses on how organisations operate, what they perform, their styles of management and their business strategies.

Pre-sessional Business English programme for international students

Non-native speakers of English must have an English language level of IELTS 6.0+ or its equivalent for the Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Business (Hons) with International Business programmes.

All international learners must complete a mandatory 4-week extensive pre-sessional Business English course prior to the beginning of all Galway Business School academic programmes. This programme will provide learners with an intense focus on Academic English to provide international learners with the analytical tools they’ll need to study a full undergraduate course.

Students will be learning in a supportive environment and gain an understanding of the academic conventions and codes of conduct for academic programmes in Ireland.
